Virtual Tourists was founded by Jamie Paul, BA (Hons), who studied photography for years before the digital age had truly come to the fore, spending many a day working alone bathed in the red light of a darkroom. He received his degree in Contemporary Photography at Northumbria University in 2003 before going on to work freelance for the best part of a decade.
